Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what data The Ledgerism Brief collects from visitors, how we use it, and how visitors can request that we delete it.

What we collect

When you visit ledgerism.net, our hosting provider logs your IP address, the page you requested, your browser user agent, and the timestamp. This is standard web server logging and is retained for 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and any name you choose to provide. We store this in our email service provider’s database and use it only to send you the newsletter and related correspondence. We do not sell or rent newsletter subscriber lists.

If you contact us by email at any of the addresses on our Contact page, we retain the email in our mail provider’s system. Email correspondence is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.

Cookies and analytics

We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not set persistent cookies or track individual visitors across sites. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not have a Facebook pixel, a Google Ads pixel, or comparable cross-site tracking tooling.

Your rights

If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights (GDPR, CCPA, and others), you have the right to request a copy of the data we hold on you, to request that we correct any inaccuracies, and to request that we delete the data subject to applicable retention requirements. Send the request to privacy@ledgerism.net and we will respond within 30 days.

Updates

This policy is updated when our data practices change. The current version date is at the bottom of the page. We do not silently change the policy.
